Mazie Gilliam is a dedicated paralegal at Whalley Law with over four years of experience supporting clients in family law and criminal defense. Originally from Richland, Washington, Mazie earned her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Spokane College, graduating with honors.
Mazie is passionate about handling strategic, knowledge-driven cases where preparation and detail make a difference. She brings not only strong technical skills but also the ability to connect with clients on a personal level, offering guidance through challenging times.
Passion
Outside of work, Mazie enjoys reading, paddle boarding, and—when time allows—catching up on sleep. She is fluent in Spanish and loves exploring different cultures, with Mexico being her favorite travel destination and Spain high on her list of future adventures. Her long-term dream is to travel with her daughter and expose her to the richness of global cultures.
At home, Mazie is kept company by her two orange cats, Russ and Apri. She also has a love for Mexican food, which reflects both her favorite cuisine and her passion for cultural connection. In her career, Mazie strives for continued growth, stability, and success, always with the goal of better serving her clients.
